Mortgage Broker Isle Of Wight
Independent Mortgage Broker Isle of Wight. No Fees for mortgages arranged over £100,000.
We like to think that we are a Mortgage Broker with a difference. Firstly, if the mortgage arranged is over £100,000 we do not normally charge fees for arranging your mortgage in Isle of Wight and secondly we offer a first class professional service researching, recommending and arranging every mortgage after making sure this is the best mortgage deal available based on the clients personal circumstances.
Impartial Mortgage & Protection are a short ferry ride from the Isle of Wight, just outside Lymington in the New Forest.
For most of the mortgages that we arrange we do not charge fees. Mortgage lenders pay us a small percentage of the mortgage arranged when it completes. We only charge you a fee in addition to this if the mortgage arranged is less than £100,000. For mortgages of under £100,000 there may be a fee for mortgage advice, the specific amount will depend upon your circumstances but our typical fee is £200.
Our mortgage business model keeps us very busy even through the hard recent times. Recommendations and word of mouth accounting for a large proportion of our business.
We find most new clients want to discuss things over the phone at first and then either have their mortgage or life insurance arranged direct or with a home visit to the Isle of Wight to discuss face to face.
We are quite happy to come to Newport, Ventnor, Shanklin, Bembridge, Ryde or Cowes to arrange a mortgage if requested.
Alternatively, if you would like to look around yourself then please feel free to look at our online mortgage calculator or life insurance quoting tools which are updated daily for clients in Isle of Wight and non-clients to use anytime 24 hours a day. There is no obligation or passwords required.

What happens when you contact us?
When you contact Impartial, we will initially discuss your needs, answer any questions and ask what we can do for you. A meeting can then me arranged, or we can email you a short mortgage questionnaire which you can complete and return in your own time. This helps us to understand your financial circumstances and needs so that we can recommend the most suitable mortgage for you.
Please refer to our Impartial Mortgages FAQ's or some of the most popular questions about our services are under the daily best mortgage deal tables.
Do you deal with all mortgage lenders?
We are an Independent Mortgage Broker but unfortunately there are always going to be some lenders that do not use brokers. There are not many lenders in this category.
How does the mortgage process work?
Most mortgages are arranged on-line by us. Once we know your personal information and financial circumstances we will recommend the best mortgage deal for you. We will then complete the agreement in principle (lender credit check) and then submit the application if accepted.
Proof of income and supporting documentation is then sent to the mortgage lender.
The lender arranges the valuation of the property and once this is returned, the case is normally reviewed and the mortgage offer issued.
Impartial will follow the progress of the mortgage from submission to the lender through to completion.
How long will it take?
Every mortgage is different. However, a general guide would be, remortgage 4-5 weeks and a purchase/home mover 6 weeks to 3 months dependent on number of buyers in the chain.
We can sometimes arrange a mortgage in Isle of Wight within 24 hours if it is urgent. As we are local the process is made easier.
Remember that your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Wills & trusts, conveyancing services, and most forms of buy-to-let mortgages are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
